Committees

Ambassador Committee – The Ambassadors Committee coordinates activities that increase and retain membership. They assist with welcoming new members and planning networking events.

Economic Development and Governmental Affairs Committee- The Economic Development and Governmental Affairs Committee monitors economic and regional issues of local and state governments that could have an impact on the business community.  The committee maintains a continuing dialogue with elected and appointed government officials from the city and the county.

Marketing Committee – The Marketing Committee helps develop branding materials that broaden the awareness of the cities of Maplewood, Richmond Heights, and the Mid County Chamber of Commerce for the purpose of economic development and membership recruitment.

Nominating Committee – The Nominating Committee identifies individuals who demonstrate skills consistent with those desired in a Chamber Board Member. The committee fills vacancies of any kind by recommending an annual nomination slate and facilitates the nomination and election process.

Event Committees– Special Event Committees are assembled for an event that is put on for the purpose of fundraising or drawing a significant group of visitors to area during a specific time period.  The committee makes recommendations on elements of the event including marketing, entertainment, features, registration fees, etc.
