2020 Taste of Maplewood
“Love What’s Local” Design/Art Contest
Calling all artists, big and small, who love our community! The Mid County Chamber of Commerce is seeking artwork that reflects life in the communities served by Mid County Chamber of Commerce (Maplewood and/or Richmond Heights.)
The theme is “Love What’s Local” and artists are encouraged to incorporate local places, traditions, and other qualities unique to our community.
Paint, colored pencils, markers, crayon, charcoal, chalk, and/or pastel. Artists are encouraged to consider the theme of “Love What’s Local” in designing their artwork.
Artwork should be submitted on paper or canvas in one of the following sizes: 8×10 | 8.5 x 11| 11 x 14 | 16 x 20.
Original artwork should be dropped off at the Mid County Chamber of Commerce (7326A Manchester Rd, Maplewood, MO 63143) during business hours. Artwork can be left at the bottom of the steps for contactless drop-off. All artwork must have an entry form (Form can be submitted online or along with the artwork). If submitting entry form online, the artist should provide his/her name on the back of the artwork so that it can be matched accordingly. All entries become the property of the Mid County Chamber of Commerce and will be retained by the Chamber. Submissions may be on display throughout Taste of Maplewood in storefront windows from August 19-August 26
DEADLINE FOR ENTRIES
Friday, August 14, 2020 at Noon
A winner will be chosen and prize given in each of the following age categories:
Child (10 and under) | Prize- $20 Gift Card to Small Business of Choice
Tween/Teen (11-17 years old) |Prize- $25 Gift Card to Small Business of Choice
Adult 18+ | Prize- $50 to Small Business of Choice.
(Winners can choose any Chamber Member Business participating in 2020 Taste of Maplewood)
