Avenues Counseling is a nonprofit organization. Our mission is to provide vital mental health counseling services to all who have need, regardless of a person’s ability to pay. We believe emotional and mental wellness should not be a luxury, but be equally accessible to all.
We are in our 10th year of operating! Our fundraising has looked different this year due to COVID so our usual events have been canceled. We have been busy writing grants and relying on donations as we serve our community. With the state of our Nation, it is not surprising that our scholarship needs have increased by over 200% in the last year. People are struggling in so many ways and our services are in high demand.
Our Counseling and Group Programs serve children, adolescents, and adults. We work with individuals, couples, and families on a variety of topics such as anxiety, depression, financial distress, grief and loss, trauma, abuse, disordered eating, relationship distress, addictions and more.

May is Mental Health Awareness month, and May 20th is the first ever Mental Health Action Day. Beginning this Thursday, May 20th Avenues will be having a fundraising campaign for our scholarship fund. Donations can be made at https://givebutter.com/Avenues2021
We continue to see individual lives changed by our work! As individuals change and grow we also get to see the positive effects impact families and the community. It is really amazing to see.
We are currently looking to add to our Board of Directors. If you would like to learn more, please contact .
Chamber Talk
Being a part of the chamber has been a great way to get to know other business owners in the area, meet people, and allow our organization to support other businesses as we are able.
I really appreciated the “family-like” atmosphere among other businesses in the area.
